Concerts in historic costumes at Salzburg Residence. The State Rooms in the Old and New Residence were often used by Salzburg's prince-archbishops as the venue for music performances. Salzburg's Marionette Theater
Salzburg's Marionette Theater grew to become one of the city's major attractions by the 1920s. Salzburg's marionettes have always addressed adults although the puppets also hold a special fascination for children.

Their repertoire primarily includes the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Sound of Music Broadway musical has been on the
program since 2007.
