Salzburg's Marionette Theater
Salzburg's Marionette Theater grew to become one of the city's major attractions
by the 1920s. Salzburg's marionettes have always addressed adults although
the puppets also hold a special fascination for children.
Their repertoire
primarily includes the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Sound of
Music Broadway musical has been on the
program since 2007.
